Who's behind the name

January 21, 2014 is the day 3 Step Recruitment Inc. went from a dream to reality. Co-owners Fil Abraham and Daniela Vassallo are the entrepreneurs behind this organization. They started their own firm with the belief that they would be able to provide services to their clients in a way that was superior to their competition. Great pricing, excellent candidates, and building fantastic relationships were just the start.

Fil and Daniela have been in the industry for a number of years. Each coming from very different backgrounds and each with their own stories to tell. Although they may be complete opposites in some aspects, together they make an excellent duo with the same goals in mind. They came together with one purpose: to change the staffing industry.

3 Step Recruitment is owned by two women who do not sit back and just wait. They are both hands on professionals who use their knowledge and understanding of the staffing industry and make sure their clients come out on top.

Fil Abraham - Co-Owner / Director of Business Development

A dependable, conscientious, and skilled member of our team, Fil has many years of experience. Known for her consistent level of excellence, she has a sound background in recruiting, administrative support, and inventory control/purchasing.

Prior to 3 Step Recruitment, Fil worked for large reputable recruitment firms where she was able to learn their recruiting techniques and improved upon them to help create 3 Step Recruitment practices for a more complete way of approaching client and candidate relationships.

Fil is a confident and reliable team member; clients have expressed her to be an excellent communicator with immaculate interpersonal skills. She can recognize and resolve problems, inspire cooperation, and achieve deadlines. She is well organized, efficient, and able to maintain accurate records and excellent service standards. Fil thrives well in a fast paced, demanding environment and can provide references from clients that are available upon request.

Daniela Vassallo - Co-Owner / Director of Recruitment

Highly personable and determined, Daniela has strong recruiting experience within the consulting and recruitment industries. Delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment Daniela offers a talent for identifying client needs, presenting appropriate company details, and managing the client-candidate relationships. She has demonstrated ability to gain candidate and client trust and provide exceptional follow-up, leading to increased repeat and referral business.

Over the course of 4 years, while working at respected recruitment establishments Daniela developed the ability to become a strong highly affective recruiting professional. Her work ethic and reputation were part of the solid foundation of 3 Step Recruitments guiding principles.

Daniela has always had a passion for connecting candidates with their perfect career match and it really becomes evident in her impressive work ethic and commitment to providing both client and candidate with a successful placement.

South Division - Branch Manager

An analytical and diligent Certified Human Resources Professional, Camille brings consulting and executive recruitment experience. Camille started her career with 3 Step Recruitment in 2020 and has since been promoted to her current role of Branch Manager South Division. 

Camille is responsible for full cycle recruitment across all industry sectors. Camille earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western University and has a Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources from Humber College. She is an active member of the Human Resources Professional Association 

Prior to 3 Step, Camille was a Researcher and Consultant at an international Executive Recruitment Firm. In her role, she provided the leadership team with integrated research and project coordination to ensure the highest caliber client and candidate experience. 

Camille is enthusiastic about connecting candidates and organizations to tailored strategies that allow them to reach their potential and generate change. She thrives in fast-paced, growing environments where collaboration is key to achieving outstanding results.
