Accounting Manager

Our client is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Administrator to join their afternoon shift

Shift: Sunday to Thursday – 3pm to 11pm

Must haves:

Administrative background

Strong English communication both written and verbal

Strong computer skills (excel)

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for general administration work in our warehouse
  • Receiving paperwork through the Bill of Lading
  • Primary focus is to ensure proper document flow ensuring that paperwork is filled out as required in order for final invoicing to be facilitated
  • Evaluate, calculate and input incoming inventory items into a customized computer system
  • Review and investigate data discrepancies and when necessary return incomplete documents to the Manager for resolution
  • Enter orders into a tracking system by delivery date and location
  • Transfer information from orders to create truck route lists as directed
  • Analyze, process and print supporting documentation for each order
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of all data entries
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Essential Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative support within a warehouse environment
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a benefit
  • Attention to detail and customer focused
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high volume environment with a sense of urgency
  • Organized, self-motivated and a team player
  • Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing across various functions and organizational levels
  • Knowledge and working abilities of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Attendance at work and punctuality is an essential function of this position
  • Available to work overtime as required
